Hector is an award-winning film and media producer working across independent narrative film, documentary, and branded content. His work has screened at several Oscar®-qualifying festivals, including CAA Moebius, Cleveland International Film Festival, Miami Film Festival, Bend Film Festival, Sonoma International Film Festival, and Cinequest.
A graduate of the prestigious AFI Conservatory Producing Program, Hector developed and produced multiple short films and visual essays, collaborating closely with directors, cinematographers, editors, writers, and production designers across disciplines.
His producing work is rooted in character-driven storytelling, with a focus on themes of connection, identity, and human relationships. His recent documentary Brothers on Three received a theatrical release, and his debut narrative feature Venice Days is slated for release this year.
In addition to independent film, Hector has produced branded and commercial content for national and international clients including Hard Rock, Converse, Virgin Voyages, Carnival, SeaWorld, Everlast, Celsius Energy, TAG Heuer, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Hector brings a hands-on background in physical production and development, with experience shepherding projects from early concept through financing, budgeting, production, and distribution.
He is known for building collaborative teams and balancing creative ambition with practical execution. He is a proud member of the Producers Guild of America, the International Documentary Association (IDA), NALIP, and Film Independent.
